The latest Leicester City news as Everton could face a 12-point deduction from the Premier League if they are found guilty of breaches of financial fair play rules.

Former Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan has predicted that Leicester City will not be successful if they choose to pursue a legal case against Everton amid Financial Fair Play charges.
Everton underwent an official hearing for alleged breaches of Premier League Financial Fair Play rules last week. The outcome of that hearing is yet to be confirmed, but if they are found guilty then reports suggest that the Premier League are pushing for a 12-point deduction.
City finished the season in the final relegation place, two points behind Everton. The positions were finalised after the Toffees came out as 1-0 winners over Bournemouth on the final day of the campaign.
Fellow relegated sides Leeds United and Southampton as well as Burnley, who were relegated the previous season are also said to be looking at taking possible legal action. City are reported to be wanting £100m should Everton be found guilty, but Jordan has issued a strong message over a possible case.
“They’ve got no chance,” he said on TalkSPORT on Monday morning. “Everyone signs up to a covenant which is basically that the sanctioning of a breach has these consequences.
“Now they can make a case if they want and try and make a case through the legal system to try and suggest that this is a breach of the rules people signed up to those rules. Any decent court case is going to refer them back to the industry that came from and say what were the rules that you signed up to.
“The rules that you signed up to were that the punishment for financial breaches was this. You can’t then go and say ‘Well I don’t like the rules that I signed up to and I can’t do anything about changing those rules, so I’m now going to sue you for them.
“Any decent court will refer you back to your industry because that’s the governance that you decided you were going to be a party to.”
