NEWS Update : As the NSFL’s sixth week comes to a close, St. Mary loses on the road while Carlton stays perfect.

On Friday, the sixth week of the North Saskatchewan Football League’s (NSFL) inaugural season came to an end, with both Prince Albert schools continuing their regular seasons. St.

On Thursday afternoon, Mary was in Martensville, where the Royals defeated the Marauders 17-15.

Two touchdowns and three rouges were all of Martensville’s points, which came in the first period.

After the opening frame, St. With a Cameron Neudorf rushing touchdown in the second and a rouge in the third, Mary started to emerge from the hole.

In the fourth, Neudorf scored another rushing touchdown, but St.

Mary lost its momentum, and the team now has a record of 0–3 for the year.

On Friday evening, Carlton hosted the Lloydminster Comprehensive Barons at home.

After the first quarter, the Crusaders had a commanding 21-0 lead, making the game lopsided.

Prior to Lloydminster scoring a touchdown to end the first half, Carlton increased its lead by seven at the start of the second quarter on a touchdown from Jordan Stene.

In the second half of the game, Rylan Morrison scored two of his four touchdowns, much like the third quarter.

Carroll Dion scored the Barons’ lone touchdown in the fourth quarter, helping Carlton win 42-8 and remain unbeaten at 3-0.

In their final game of the regular season, Carlton will travel to North Battleford to play the Vikings. St.

On the other hand, Mary will get ready to welcome Lloydminster back to Max Clunie Field on Friday for the conclusion of the regular season. Both games are scheduled to begin at 6:30. m.
