Report: Oasis reunion actually happening, at last

Liam and Noel Gallagher Tease Big Announcement

After years of speculation and hope, an Oasis reunion might finally be on the horizon. In a surprising show of unity, both Noel and Liam Gallagher have shared a teaser on social media that strongly hints at a major Oasis announcement.

The teaser, which has been posted by both brothers and on Oasis’s official social media accounts, features the date “27.08.24” (Tuesday, August 27), styled in the iconic Oasis logo typography. It then flickers to display “8am,” indicating that something significant is set to happen tomorrow morning at that time.

During his headline set at the Reading Festival over the weekend, Liam Gallagher further fueled the excitement by displaying the same teaser, driving the crowd into a frenzy. He also dedicated the Oasis song “Half the World Away” to his brother Noel during the performance.

As rumors spread following the teaser, Liam posted on X, saying, “I never did like that word FORMER,” adding more fuel to the reunion speculation.

According to The Guardian, reports suggest that Oasis might be planning to play 10 nights at Wembley Stadium and 10 nights at Heaton Park in Manchester. If confirmed, this would surpass the record set by Taylor Swift, who recently performed eight nights at Wembley Stadium during her Eras Tour.
