A comedian famous for his distinctive catchphrase and voice in a popular Disney Pixar series is heading to Southwest Florida.
Larry the Cable Guy will be performing a stand-up show at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall in Fort Myers.

**About Larry the Cable Guy:**
Larry the Cable Guy, born David Lawrence Whitney in 1963 on a Nebraska farm, later moved to West Palm Beach at age 16. He attended the local high school where his father was the principal and went on to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln before dropping out to pursue stand-up comedy, which led to his Cable Guy persona.

Larry gained national fame through the “Blue Collar Comedy Tour” with Jeff Foxworthy, Ron White, and Bill Engvall in the 2000s. He further solidified his popularity with his role as Tow Mater in the “Cars” Pixar movies. His TV appearances include “Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader,” “The Masked Singer,” and “Yellowstone.”
