Joe Flacco’s contract renewal has fans’ attention.

Browns quarterback Joe Flacco Details of Joe Flacco’s new contract with the Cleveland Browns are unknown, but the veteran quarterback’s deal reportedly includes incentives based on team performance.

Flacco, who joined theBrowns’ practice squad after being released by the league a few weeks ago, has started Cleveland’s last two games.

The 38-year-old veteran played well enough for coach Kevin Stefanski to announce he will start the rest of the season.

This led to the Browns signing Flacco for the remainder of the season. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports on the incentives that could land Flacco a big payday.

According to Schefter, Flacco will receive $75,000 for every game the Browns win the rest of the regular season.

If the Browns make the playoffs, Flacco will receive $250,000 for a wild card win and $500,000 for a divisional round win.

Flacco earned $1 million for winning the AFC Championship and $2 million for winning the Super Bowl.

Despite playing 16 seasons in the NFL, Flacco has been watched his entire career. He never made a Pro Bowl.

A week later, after Cam Newton was criticized for calling Dak Prescott, Tua Tagovailoa and Brock Purdy “game managers,” the Browns signed Flacco.

He has long been synonymous with the derogatory term “game manager”.

The Browns would like to see Flacco work some game manager magic before the Super Bowl.

It wouldn’t be the first time he’s done something like this in his career.

Flacco won the Super Bowl MVP when the Baltimore Ravens won the championship to end the 2012 season.

Many fans and pundits underestimated his performance while crediting the team’s stifling defense.

The Browns defense has improved this season, leading the NFL in fewest yards per game.

Browns fans seem happy to have Flacco, the team’s fourth starting quarterback this season, around for the rest of the season.
