NFL Fans React to Jack Harlow’s Unconventional Thanksgiving Halftime Show – Week 12 – Gridiron Heroics

NFL fans reacted quite positively to Jack Harlow’s halftime performance during the Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions game on Thanksgiving Day.

Harlow, an American rapper, singer and actor, took center stage Thursday as he performed the halftime show during the first game of Thursday’s NFL schedule, performing music from across his discography.

However, the Grammy-nominated artist struggled to captivate audiences, especially those watching at home. NFL fans took to social media to share their thoughts.

Jack Harlow has become one of America’s top young talents and celebrated his breakthrough in 2020 with his single “What’s Poppin.”

The song peaked at number 2 on the US Billboard Hot 100 after a remix featuring fellow rappers DaBaby, Tory Lanez and Lil Wayne.

Harlow has 33 singles, six mixtapes and three studio albums.

He also tried his hand at acting, starring in the remake of “White Men Can’t Jump.” It received average reviews on Rotten Tomatoes and The Observer.

He will star in the upcoming film The Instigators with Matt Damon and Ben Affleck. However, his rise didn’t stop NFL fans from questioning his performance on Thursday.

Detroit Lions are smoked on Thanksgiving

The Detroit Lions hosted the Green Bay Packers on Thursday, but despite being more than a touchdown favorite, they trailed 23-6 at halftime.

Detroit’s defense struggled to stop Green Bay’s aerial attack, allowing two passing touchdowns to quarterback Jordan Love.

Meanwhile, the Lions’ offense was struggling, particularly quarterback Jared Goff, whose first-quarter fumble led to a Packers defensive touchdown.

At least Jack Harlow’s performance on Sunday spread some of the NFL fans’ anger elsewhere.
