Sad news from Buffalo Bill…

The Buffalo Bills dominated the New York Jets on nearly every front in Week 11.

The Bills (6-5) took a 32-6 win over the Jets but were beaten up in one place in particular: The injury report.

Multiple Buffalo players went down with injuries against New York. The area that was targeted more than any other by the injury bug was the defensive backfield.

At first, some issues appeared to be serious. At the top, safety Taylor Rapp required an ambulance to leave the field.

However, head coach Sean McDermott did have some good new regarding his team’s injury report when he spoke via video conference on Monday.

A quick Bills injury rundown provided by McDermott can be found below:

Despite needing an ambulance to leave the field, Rapp has a clean bill of health. McDermott said he could play in Week 12 against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Rapp and Johnson ran into each other on the same play making a tackle. Johnson was able to leave the field under his own power but is now in the NFL’s concussion protocol. He did not return to the game vs. the Jets.

Jackson, like Johnson, left the win vs. the Jets due to a head injury and is now in concussion protocol.

Hyde played against New York but is still mentioned on the early week injury report. He is still dealing with a neck injury and is considered day-to-day.

Similar to Hyde, Lewis played but is listed as day-to-day this week. He has a shoulder injury.

Knox had surgery on his wrist and ended up on injured reserve for the past month. He’s eligible to return this week from IR but McDermott indicated that will not happen and Knox is unlikely to face the Eagles. After that matchup, Buffalo has their bye week.
