Liverpool remain closely linked with Jamal Musiala and the latest media reports are interesting.
Earlier this month, Sport Bild reported that Klopp is hatching a plan to lure the Germany international from Bayern Munich.
More recently, Chrisitian Falk reiterated that the Reds want to secure the signing of the 20-year-old attacking midfielder, who is a wanted man in the transfer market. The well-known journalist declared (Bild):
Everyone knows they can lure Musiala to their club and Liverpool will now have Manchester City on the table, while Real Madrid are also very interested.
Bayern is doing everything possible to keep Musiala in Munich.’
“It cost him 200,000 euros and is now worth 110 million euros. That’s what a player like that would cost if you wanted him, but it’s not that much anymore.
Pundit Gabby Agbonlahor has advised the Merseysiders to lure the Kaiser, saying Musiala would be willing to accept a move to Liverpool.
The former Aston Villa striker told Football Insider:
“I think they (Liverpool) are missing another top midfielder. Musiala is a player who could win the Ballon d’Or, but I don’t think it’s possible at Bayern Munich.
“Germany aren’t great at the moment either, so for him to win he has to be in the Premier League or La Liga with Real Madrid? I think it’s something the player would like to do. “He knows England well.”
The 25-time international scored 16 goals and provided as many assists last season, but this season he has spent most of his time on the Bundesliga bench.
It is therefore not surprising that contract negotiations have not progressed. Do you think Liverpool should pay £96m to sign Jamal Musiala?
Liverpool are now in direct contact to sign the 24-year-old world-class star
Liverpool are currently doing very well and are in the midst of the Premier League title race.
Jürgen Klopp’s team is also doing well in the UEFA Europa League.
Liverpool are fourth in the Premier League with twenty points from nine games.
The Reds are three points behind leaders Tottenham Hotspur.
Liverpool top Group E of the UEFA Europa League with nine points from three games. Liverpool make contact with Napoli striker Victor Osimhen
Although the Merseyside club are strong at the moment, they want to improve.
It seems Liverpool believe adding Victor Osimhen to their squad would make them better.
And I think the Reds would be right.
According to Calcio Mercato, Liverpool have had “several direct contacts” with Osimhen’s camp and are ready to move if the striker fails to agree a new contract with his club Napoli.
My opinion: Victor Osimhen could make Liverpool unstoppable
In my opinion, Napoli striker Victor Osimhen could turn Liverpool into an unstoppable machine. Liverpool already have a very powerful attacking unit.
Egyptian striker Mohamed Salah is a world-class player who still scores goals for fun.
Darwin Nunez is starting to thrive at Liverpool.
He imagines if Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp also had Osimhen as an option.
That would be incredible. Simply incredible.
Osimhen is one of the best strikers in the world.
According to former Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun, who now plays for AS Monaco, Osimhen is “world class”.
Napoli’s number 9 has scored six goals in seven games as a starter in Serie A this season.
The 24-year-old has scored 26 goals and provided four assists in 30 Serie A starts and scored five goals in five UEFA Champions League starts last season.
Napoli won Serie A last season.
Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg reported on X that Liverpool are in talks with the management of Schalke midfielder Assan Ouedraogo.
Bayern Munich are among the clubs interested in the 17-year-old midfielder of the Germany Under-17 national team.
Liverpool have also been linked with Leny Yoro. According to 90min, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United are all monitoring the progress of the 17-year-old French U21 central defender.
