Since joining
Tottenham in January 2022, Rodrigo Bentancur has shown all his talent.

His form in the first half of the 2022/23 season has been particularly remarkable.

The Uruguay international scored six goals and two assists (Transfermarkt) before suffering a season-ending injury in February this year. Bentancur’s cruciate ligament injury is expected to keep him out until November. Until then, Ange Postecoglou could count on midfield duo Pape Matar Sarr and the resurgent Yves Bissouma so far this season. Nonetheless, Bentancur’s expected return next month will be a huge boost for Postecoglou and his Spurs side, as the 26-year-old can add an extra level of quality to the team.
