Sessegnon faces a battle to return to the Tottenham squad. Destiny Udogie has been a revelation early in this campaign.
And it seems to perfectly match Ange Postecoglou’s style. But Tottenham find themselves in a precarious position following the news that Ivan Perisic has himself been seriously injured.
In fact, The Athletic reported that Perisic is expected to miss the rest of the season. It’s a big blow to potentially lose the Croatian for the rest of the season.
Postecoglou had found the perfect role for Perisic at this stage of his career. And obviously he was someone who could take action if something happened to Udogie.Sessegnon has something to prove if he can fill Perisic’s void.
everyone knows how good the young man can be.And so it is excellent news for both Tottenham and Sessegnon that he is getting closer to his return.
PerhapsPerisic’s injury could prove to be the turning point for Sessegnon who finally enjoys some happiness.
