In the midst of the acrimonious Erik ten Hag controversy, Jurgen Klopp’s insightful remarks regarding Jadon Sancho have surfaced once again.

Sancho is working out separately from the first team after complaining that he was made the “scapegoat” after being left off of the United team that lost to Arsenal .

Ten Hag claimed at the time that his performance in training had fallen short of expectations; the 23-year-old winger vehemently denied this claim in a social media post that he later deleted.

According to a report in the Mirror, Sancho has been barred from using any first-team facilities at United, including the team dining area, and his teammates have pleaded with him to apologize and put an end to his dispute with Ten Hag.

In contrast, Sancho’s future at United is uncertain because the player has been linked to moves to Saudi Arabia, Borussia Dortmund, and a number of Premier League clubs.

A move to Liverpool is unlikely to be considered, though.

Klopp has acknowledged the winger’s abilities in the past, but he has also insisted numerous times that Liverpool have always found the player to be too expensive.

Klopp explained that the premium on signing English players had prevented any possibility of a deal when discussing Sancho in 2019, when the player was excelling for Dortmund in the Bundesliga.

According to Klopp’s comments to the Mirror, “buying English players is a smart idea because we would never have a chance to get Sancho.

“We are not deaf; we saw him, liked him, and then we asked ourselves, ‘Can we get him?” No.

due to the fact that English clubs don’t sell to other English clubs.

They don’t do it, for reasons that I’m not entirely sure of.

They can now travel to Germany, which has a fantastic league. “.

Sancho would be a fantastic addition, but Klopp told Bild a year later that he did not anticipate a deal to be completed.

“The red shirt (of Liverpool) would suit very well,” he remarked.

Such a transfer won’t be feasible this year, in my opinion. Sancho is an extremely intriguing player.

I would be the most shocked of all of us, though, if he were to visit Liverpool. “.

As he emphasized the financial consequences of the Covid pandemic in 2021, Klopp once more downplayed the likelihood of a deal.

I hear a lot about big-money moves, but I don’t know if Kylian Mbappe, (Erling) Haaland, or Sancho will be among them.

The football world is still not in the same place it was before, so I don’t see that happening this summer.

“. And after the winger had a rough start at Old Trafford, Klopp defended the player ahead of the match against Sancho and United in October 2021.

Jadon Sancho has exceptional talent. Certainly,” Klopp replied.

He possesses all the qualities necessary to one day rank among the best players in the world.

“That’s the way it is, but he’s still very young.

He received a lot of praise in Dortmund, as was obvious.

I watched a lot of games where he played exceptionally well, said Klopp.

Particularly where you are, it’s a typical circumstance.

I’m not, but you are; you get impatient pretty easily.

Remember the options United have in his position.

Jadon can definitely play other positions, too.

there isn’t any more room, though.

To be honest, as a manager, that is a problem you want to have.

Hopefully not on Sunday, but for Jadon everything will be fine. “.
