Manchester United fell short again this weekend due to VAR, but the Red Devils overcame the setback to record a 1-0 victory at Burnley.
A Rasmus Hojlund goal against Brighton was ruled out earlier this month after the ball went out of play before reaching the back of the net, and at Turf Moor,
Jonny Evans had his goal disallowed after VAR ruled on Hojlund in an offside position and the goal was blocked by Burnley goalkeeper James Trafford.
However, Evans provided a good assist for Bruno Fernandes’ winning goal.
Meanwhile, Manchester City won 2-0 at home to Nottingham Forest despite playing with ten men for most of the second half after Rodri was sent off for violent behavior.
