Liverpool have now made a contractual breakthrough with an “incredible” player.

Trent Alexander-Arnold is reportedly set to finalize a new contract with Liverpool, with an announcement expected in the coming months.

According to 90min, the England international is close to agreeing new terms at the Anfield side with Alexander-Arnold as he signs a new contract with Liverpool before the end of the year.

Alexander-Arnold was appointed vice-captain of Liverpool this summer and the defender is expected to play an important role for Jurgen Klopp’s side in the Premier League this season.

And with two years left on his current contract, the Reds have now made the decision to move on from Alexander-Arnold and tie the wing-back down to a new contract with the club.

Alexander-Arnold was instrumental in Liverpool finishing fifth last season, with Manchester United defender Luke Shaw hailing the full-back as “incredible”.

Additionally, Alexander-Arnold’s performances this season are already hinting at a bigger right-back role, with many fans expecting the 24-year-old to reach new heights for Liverpool.

Liverpool have signed Alexander-Arnold to a new contract as smartly as a big Premier League club can do with a player as important as the England international.

With interest from FC Barcelona and Real Madrid, signing Alexander-Arnold to a new contract without much fanfare is a great result for Liverpool.

And the decision in the coming years could be huge, as Alexander-Arnold could become one of the best players to ever play in the Premier League for Liverpool.

The Spaniard is ready to join Real Madrid instead of Liverpool

Real Madrid and Liverpool have featured in some memorable competitions in recent years, including some UEFA Champions League finals. White was victorious every time.

And now it seems both clubs are also looking to sign the same manager.

Carlo Ancelotti has done a very good job since returning to Real Madrid for a second spell.

In fact, he doesn’t get enough credit for what he achieved during his time at the Santiago Bernabeu, especially when you consider the hand he was dealt, with very little depth and a somewhat inexperienced squad.

Ancelotti is expected to leave at the end of this season, when his current contract expires, as he looks set to join the Brazilian national team.

So Real Madrid may soon need a new manager.
As reported by Defensa Central (via The Hard Tackle), Xabi Alonso is a target for both Liverpool and Real Madrid.

The Spaniard, however, is willing to move to Los Blancos instead of the Reds.

This is excellent news for Real Madrid. Even though he doesn’t have much experience, Alonso could be a good choice as the club’s next manager.

He has done a remarkable job since arriving at Bayer Leverkusen midway through last season.

At this point, it seemed difficult for the club to avoid relegation. Instead, they finished sixth with the Spaniard behind the wheel.

This season they seem to have taken another step forward and are top of the Bundesliga table.

It is therefore not difficult to understand why some of Europe’s biggest clubs are interested in Alonso. But let’s see where he ends up.
