Many midfielders were linked to Liverpool during the summer transfer window.
In fact, the rumor mill went into overdrive as the Reds concentrated on rebuilding their midfield as every player under the sun was connected with a move to Anfield.
Andre Trindade, a player for Fluminense, was one whose name was frequently mentioned.
The 22-year-old Brazilian is said to be interested in moving to Anfield, and while a deal didn’t materialize this summer, Fabrizio Romano suggested on the Here We Go Podcast that a transfer to Anfield may still be in the works down the road because Liverpool continue to value the player.
Andre might move to Liverpool
Romano revealed what he is aware of Andre.

Credit to Fluminense, it was not easy, but I believe Liverpool will keep an eye on the player because Andre is a very, very good player.

Do they require him?
Although Andre may be a player Liverpool enjoys, we have to wonder if they still require him after their summer hiring spree.
In all honesty, Liverpool only needed four midfielders this summer and probably doesn’t need any more.
Andre is a talent, but, at the same time, so are Stefan Bajcetic, Harvey Elliott and Curtis Jones, so it’s hard to imagine the Reds will be going for this one in the near future.
