Burnley signed the first month under Kompany, “Extreme Change” for him – Sport witness

For the first time with the Norwegian national team since Burnley came to Burnley, Sander Berge today ispoke with the media of his country of origin on the move.

The midfielder joined Vincent Kompany’s team for a move of € 13.9 million from Sheffield United this summer and still gets used to his new club in England.

Speaking with Nettavisen, Berge was asked a lot about his work under the boss Burnley and said he saw a huge difference in his daily work since he joined the Clalats.

“It is an extreme change in daily life,” said Berge Nettavisen.
“It is very detailed and adjacent to advance as a football player. You open your eyes in a whole new way.

Kompany continues to be seen as one of Pep Guardiola’s disciples, and Berge says there are actually certain qualities that bind the former Manchester City defender to the Spain manager.

“Here you look for perfection in the game and work on every little detail. It’s an advantage to work under a coach who was captain under Pep and who sees football that way.

“The way we work in training and outside of training is fascinating. It makes you think and sees football from a different perspective.

After a rocky start to the Premier League, Burnley currently sit bottom of the table with three defeats in three games.

They will be back in action against Nottingham Forest at the City Ground on September 18. Until then, Berge will focus on the international break, where they will first face Jordan in a friendly and then Georgia in a EURO qualifier.

Manchester City are weighing up an opportunistic move in January for Chelsea left-back Ian Maatsen.
City are keeping an eye on Maatsen’s contract situation at Chelsea.

The left-back impressed last season on loan at Burnley

The 21-year-old rejected the chance to return to Turf Moor

According to Planet Sport, City are closely monitoring the 21-year-old Dutch defender’s contractual situation.

Maatsen was on loan at Burnley last season and has one year left on his contract at Chelsea.

Chelsea were prepared to sell Maatsen this summer and have reportedly signed a loan deal with Burnley – with an option to buy for £31.5 million ($39 million).

However, the youngster turned down the opportunity to return to Vincent Kompany’s side and has declared his intention to stay at Stamford Bridge this season.

Chelsea are keen to match Maatsen as Mauricio Pochettino has given him four appearances this season while he has only played once against fellow left-back Marc Cucurella.

However, City have been without a left-back for some time, so if Pep Guardiola calls up Maatsen it would be interesting to see what he says.

The two Premier League giants have had their fair share of business recently, with Cole Palmer and Raheem Sterling moving to London this summer and Mateo Kovacic moving north.
