Supporting a football club in England costs more than ever, according to exclusive research from Reach – and now you can see how much each club charges their supporters.

The Cost of Football is Reach’s annual study of how much each club in the top four divisions of English football charges its supporters.

It is the largest of its kind in the country and handles three main items: subscriptions, match tickets and shirt prices.

And for the first time this year, the prizes for games in the higher category “Cat A” are also in the spotlight.

It turns out that even though some clubs have frozen ticket prices amid a cost of living crisis, things are getting more expensive overall.

The average cost of season tickets, match tickets and replica shirts has risen to record levels.

The most expensive season tickets cost £3,000 each. Tickets to big games at one club start at £70 each and cost up to £240 at another club, while three clubs charge £60 for children’s replica shirts.

You can see how each club compares to the others in its division using our gadget:

The cost of Tottenham’s most expensive season tickets are £2,015.00 each this season, which is a £10.00 drop on last year.

Only Fulham charge more for their most expensive season ticket, which costs a whopping £3,000.00.

The cheapest Spurs season tickets cost £807.00 each, the same as the last two seasons. On the other hand, only one club charges more: Arsenal at £973.00.

The average cost for the cheapest adult season ticket at each Premier League and EFL club is now £399.88.

This is the highest value ever recorded. The average is also record for each division: £535.13 in the Premier League, £377.04 in the Championship, £368.34 in League One and £341.56 in League Two.

The most expensive season tickets offered by the clubs cost a record average of £610.15 across all four divisions.

In the Premier League the average is £1,042.25, in the Championship £581.73, in League One £479.84 and in League Two £407.61.

Adult singles match tickets for league matches with no membership discount in the top four divisions range from £9.00 at Liverpool to £240.00 at Chelsea.

However, those tickets are in Chelsea’s premium Westview section. The most expensive ‘regular’ tickets at Stamford Bridge cost £76.00 each.

Tottenham charge £37.00 for the cheapest adult match tickets and £103.00 for the most expensive ones.
Clubs often have a differentiated prize structure for different match categories.

The higher tiers, which we’ve called ‘Cat A’ in this draft, are usually against the top of the division, or a local rival, and as such are more expensive.

When it comes to these ‘Cat A’ matches, Spurs tickets start at £65.00 each. The only club with a higher entry point is Arsenal at £70.00.

The cheapest tickets offered by clubs across all four divisions cost £24.29 each on average.

Tickets for the family area are excluded, which often require the purchase of a junior ticket as well. The most expensive, on the other hand, costs £40.32 on average.

However, a total of 21 clubs have not produced a publicly available price list for each competition category.

They are: Burnley, Crystal Palace, Fulham, Luton Town, Manchester City, Manchester United, Newcastle United, Nottingham Forest, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Birmingham City, Blackburn Rovers, Ipswich Town, Queens Park Rangers, Sunderland, Watford, Bristol Rovers , Charlton Athletic. , Fleetwood Town, Port Vale, Shrewsbury Town and Wigan Athletic.
