Asmir Begovic has announced that he will leave the Blues when his contract expires this summer in a move that does not come as a surprise.

The 37-year-old was a back-up with the Toffees, with Jordan Pickford and Joao Virginia ahead of him in the pecking order.
The ex-Chelsea man is already in talks with a new club, FK Sarajevo, in his homeland of Bosnia and took to Instagram to say farewell to his former club.
He said: “A beautiful farewell to Goodison Park. An incredible occasion for all Evertonians and very blessed to have been a part of it all.
“It’s been an absolute honour to be part of Everton over my two spells. A huge thank you to all my teammates, staff, and all the fans for making me feel welcome at this special club. I wish you all nothing but the very best.”
Calvert-Lewin commented on the post, saying: “AB” with a blue heart emoji and a glass of wine.
Michael Keane also commented, saying: “Legend AB” with a clapping hands emoji and a blue heart.
