Tottenham Hotspur are one of a number of Premier League clubs monitoring Serhu Girassi ahead of the January transfer window.
In October, journalist Dean Jones told the Ranks FC podcast that Tottenham were tracking the Guinea international striker.
Now Jones has given a further update on Tottenham’s reported goal amid interest from “half the Premier League”.
A GiveMeSport reporter said he had heard Girassi’s selection could lead to a “big salary offer”.
However, according to Jones, the transfer itself is “relatively likely to happen” due to his £15m release clause.
“Who can put the best terms on the table?”The transfer insider also said that one of Tottenham’s rivals West Ham could be interested in signing Dirassi.
“The race to sign Djirash is getting more interesting, with half the Premier League questioning whether they should buy him in January,” wrote Jones.
“But I know it would amount to a huge salary offer. “A release clause can make the actual transfer relatively easy, but it can also force players to find a good package to get into their account, so I’m thinking about who can do that and put the best terms on the table.
The Tottenham Hotspur storyVfB Stuttgart – Borussia Dortmund – DFB Cup:
“West Ham are clearly looking for a striker and if they’re willing to push the boat out and make him an offer they wouldn’t normally make for a top-tier player, they could have a decent chance of getting him.“
This young man has traveled this career. “But he is a promising prospect in European football and it is difficult to score goals at the highest level these days.”
Serhou Girassi is a good shout for TottenhamGirasi certainly ticks a lot of boxes, especially in a January transfer window where it is notoriously difficult to sign top strikers for Spurs.
A talented, productive, hard-working, proven and experienced 27-year-old with a few years left and not too expensive.
Jirashi is showing good form this season. He has scored 18 goals in all competitions this season.
Four more than Mohamed Salah and one less than Erling Haaland.Had it not been for the England international leaving Tottenham this summer, he would now be the Bundesliga’s top scorer.
