Saturday 9 August will see the Toffees face off against Roma in a pre-season encounter, the other team under the ownership of The Friedkin Group.

However, that won’t be the only game that fans can watch, with a Legends game also set to take place straight after, and Capello will be in the dugout as announced via the official Roma X account (7 July).

The Champions League-winning manager will make the trip to Merseyside, alongside Roma icon Vincent Candela, to take part in what will be an exciting day all around.

All eyes will be on the new campaign already, but there is still a lot of work to be done between now and then to get the Toffees prepared.
Recruitment, training and friendlies will all play a huge role in deciding the success that Everton can find under David Moyes next season.
