Liverpool have set an asking price for defender Jarell Quansah, giving local rivals Everton hope of securing his signature.
Quansah, 22, has been subject to heavy interest from both Bundesliga and Premier League sides ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Liverpool academy graduate is coming off a difficult second season at Anfield, having fallen down the pecking order under Arne Slot after breaking into the side in 2023.
As a result of this lack of playing time, departing Anfield looks a real possibility for the ex-Bristol Rovers loanee.
Liverpool want £29m+ for Quansah
The Premier League champions have decided to allow Quansah to leave the club.
Caught Offside reports that Liverpool are seeking a fee of just over £29million for the young defender to fund new signings.

Nottingham Forest, Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen are actively involved in the transfer process.
Dortmund, in particular, are keen to bring Quansah to Signal Iduna Park as they look to continue their excellent track record of developing promising English talent, which includes Jude Bellingham and Jadon Sancho.
Forest are displaying the most serious interest from anyone in the Premier League, while Newcastle United, Bournemouth, Brentford and Everton are all potential destinations.
David Moyes could have a big say in this.
Everton can offer Quansah first-team football
Everton have emerged as the surprise candidate for the Liverpool man, given the two sides’ historic rivalry and lack of previous business.
The last player to move between the Merseyside rivals was Abel Xavier in 2002, and only 29 players have ever moved directly across Stanley Park.
The move, however, would make sense from a footballing standpoint for both sides, as the Toffees can offer Quansah regular first-team football, which he will not receive at Anfield.
The 22-year-old has shown great potential since breaking into the team in 2023, making 30 appearances in the Premier League, whilst temporarily usurping Ibrahima Konate‘s starting spot at the end of his debut season.
Meanwhile, Liverpool can invest any transfer fee to help fund their transfer targets, as the Reds are looking to sign Bayer Leverkusen pair Jeremie Frimpong and Florian Wirtz, as well as Bournemouth star Milos Kerkez.
However, this deal does look unlikely despite an apparent perfect ploy, as it would be a massive shock to see Liverpool move one of their best academy prospects to one of their biggest rivals.
