Everton are unlikely to have any injury concerns to worry about if they pursue Liam Delap’s services this summer, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert has assessed the Ipswich Town striker’s game time and fitness record this past season.
He has made 36 league appearances for the relegated side and has played over 2500 minutes for them.
Delap should have no issues clearing his medical
Everton are understood to be serious about pursuing Delap’s services despite interest from Chelsea and Manchester United.
David Moyes even confirmed that talks have been held to bring him to Merseyside once the transfer window opens.
However, he admitted that Everton may not be the favourites to sign him.

Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, Dr Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and a Sports Scientist, said about Delap: “I would not expect any issues with his medical.
“He has remained injury free all season and has played regularly.
“The added advantage of his moving to another Premier League side is the fact that he has experience of playing in the league.“

Everton should consider pursuing alternatives to Delap
The Toffees must consider alternatives to Delap because top clubs like Chelsea and Manchester United can offer significantly more financial incentives and global prestige, making them more attractive destinations for talented young players.
Both Chelsea and United boast extensive financial resources, allowing them to offer higher wages, signing bonuses, and lucrative sponsorship deals that Everton may struggle to match.
Delap is a striker Gary Lineker has praised and he’s unsurprisingly caught the eye of a number of clubs.
He said: “He is young and not entirely proven, but he’s scored quite a lot of goals in the Premier League this season for a team that’s obviously struggled having been promoted last season in Ipswich. I like his movement.”
Additionally, these clubs have a long-standing reputation for developing and showcasing young talent on the world stage, providing players with greater exposure and opportunities to compete in top-tier competitions such as the UEFA Champions League, potentially for Chelsea.
The allure of playing for a club with a larger global fan base and international recognition can be a decisive factor for ambitious young players seeking to elevate their careers rapidly.
The Blues, therefore, face a challenge in convincing Delap or similar prospects that their club can offer comparable development opportunities, a compelling project and a pathway to success without the immediate allure of bigger clubs.
