This comes as Everton have decided they will not be signing Armando Broja on a permanent deal from Chelsea.

It has undoubtedly been an incredibly unfortunate campaign for the Albania international, but Everton cannot take a £30m gamble.

Broja simply has not been able to stay fit for long enough to prove his worth on Merseyside.

It is believed Broja would be open to staying at Everton, but the Blues will not be taking up that option.

What will be interesting to see is whether the Toffees are able to keep Dominic Calvert-Lewin amid his ongoing contract saga.

Everton could sign Liam Delap for the same price as Broja

With strikers on their radar, Everton are eyeing Liam Delap who looks set to depart Ipswich Town over the coming weeks.

There is no debate as to who has enjoyed the better season between Broja and the Englishman.

Delap has a £30m release clause in his contract which has the majority of the Premier League on red alert.

But with competition extremely high, Everton may struggle to get their hands on Delap this summer.
