NHRA Drag Racing Welcomes New Series Title Sponsor
March 12, 2025 – The National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) has ushered in a new era by partnering with Mission Foods as the title sponsor for its premier drag racing series. This collaboration, announced on October 25, 2023, marks the beginning of the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series, replacing the previous sponsorship by Camping World.
Mission Foods, a leading producer of tortillas and related products, has expanded its involvement in motorsports through this multi-year agreement. The partnership not only rebrands the series but also introduces the Mission Foods Challenge to all 14 regular-season rounds in 2024, enhancing fan engagement and competition.
Camping World, which had been the title sponsor since late 2020, has transitioned to a “premier partner” role. This new arrangement allows Camping World to continue its support of NHRA’s professional and sportsman series through 2026, reflecting a flexible approach to sponsorship that benefits all parties involved.
The 2024 season, the 69th in NHRA’s history, features 20 events for Top Fuel, Funny Car, and Pro Stock categories, with Pro Stock Motorcycle competing in 15 events. Notably, this season marks the first time since 2018 that Pro Stock cars will compete in a full schedule, signaling a commitment to providing fans with comprehensive and thrilling drag racing action.
