UNSTOPPABLE: As These developments underscore the Dolphins’ commitment to strengthening their roster through strategic acquisitions and financial management, aiming to build upon their performance in the upcoming season…..

The Miami Dolphins are actively addressing key roster needs as they prepare for the upcoming NFL season. With the free agency period set to commence next week, the team is focusing on bolstering their offensive line and secondary positions. Notably, both starting guards and safeties are entering free agency, prompting the Dolphins to seek suitable replacements.

In a strategic move to create salary cap flexibility, the Dolphins restructured linebacker Bradley Chubb’s contract. Chubb, who missed the entire 2024 season due to a torn ACL, agreed to a revised deal that reduces his 2025 salary while incorporating performance-based incentives. This adjustment has freed up approximately $16.3 million in cap space, positioning Miami more favorably ahead of free agency.

Looking ahead to the 2025 NFL Draft, analysts project the Dolphins to address their offensive line by selecting LSU’s versatile lineman Will Campbell with the 13th overall pick. Additionally, Notre Dame safety Xavier Watts is anticipated as a second-round target to reinforce the secondary, especially with the expected departure of safety Jevon Holland.

These developments underscore the Dolphins’ commitment to strengthening their roster through strategic acquisitions and financial management, aiming to build upon their performance in the upcoming season.
