Unidentified Jets player reportedly targeted, robbed at gunpoint
A New York Jets player was among two individuals who were robbed at gunpoint last weekend in Morris County, New Jersey, according to a witness who spoke to NBC 4 New York.
Authorities are searching for three suspects believed to have targeted and followed the victims for over 30 miles from Manhattan to their residence in Morristown.
Around 8 a.m. on Saturday, Morristown police received multiple 911 calls reporting an armed robbery. A witness stated that the suspects exited a dark-colored SUV and confronted two people in another vehicle.
The assailants stole money and valuables, but no injuries were reported.
The identity of the Jets player has not been disclosed.
