Winnipeg Blue Bombers Report $49.5 Million Operating Revenue for 2024 Season…….

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have revealed their overall financial results for the 2024 season, showcasing a robust $49.5 million in operating revenue, underscoring the continued growth and support surrounding the community-owned franchise. The financial report reflects an increase over previous years, aided by impressive ticket sales, strong attendance, and loyal support from fans and corporate partners.

Despite falling short of a third consecutive Grey Cup win in 2023, the Blue Bombers remain a powerhouse in the CFL. Under the leadership of head coach Mike O’Shea, the Bombers posted a league-best 15-3 record during the regular season. Team president and CEO Wade Miller praised the financial results, saying, “These figures highlight the unwavering support from our season ticket members, corporate sponsors, and fans.”

The Blue Bombers’ successful season on the field translated into high attendance figures, with Winnipeg leading the CFL in attendance for a second year. They generated $15.2 million in gate receipts, setting a new benchmark for the franchise. Notably, IG Field saw more than 30,000 fans in attendance at five home games, matching a record set in 2013.

The Blue Bombers also maintained financial stability through their capital and operating reserves, established in collaboration with the Manitoba government and Triple B Stadium Inc. These funds, including $2.9 million for the capital reserve and an operating reserve balance of $6.1 million, ensure the club’s financial foundation remains solid for future seasons.

As the Blue Bombers look ahead, the 2024 season’s financial report reinforces their commitment to competitive success and long-term growth, backed by strong community and fan engagement.
