Many Lives Claimed in Tragic M6 Crash: Victims Named, Including Two Children …

Heartbreaking details have emerged following a deadly crash on the M6 in Cumbria, claiming the lives of five people, including two children. Among those killed was Jaroslaw Rossa, 42, a chef from Glasgow. The tragic collision, which involved two vehicles, took place on the northbound carriageway near Tebay services on Tuesday afternoon.

Mr. Rossa is believed to have been driving a Toyota when it collided head-on with another vehicle. Also killed in the Toyota were a 33-year-old woman and two boys, aged 15 and seven. A third child, another boy aged seven, was airlifted to the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle with serious injuries and remains in critical condition.

Authorities have also confirmed that a second man, aged 40 and from Cambridgeshire, who had reportedly been driving a Skoda in the wrong direction down the northbound carriageway, died at the crash scene.

The BBC has since reported that Wagamama’s chief executive, Thomas Heier, confirmed Mr. Rossa’s identity, stating that he was a cherished employee at the Silverburn shopping centre in Glasgow. In a heartfelt statement, Mr. Heier described Mr. Rossa as “a cherished chef and friend” who was deeply admired by his colleagues and customers alike.

“His warmth, dedication, and kindness are the characteristics of Jaroslaw that will stay with the team long after his passing,” Heier added. “We send our most sincere and heartfelt condolences to his family, which we know he was deeply devoted to. Jaroslaw, you will live in our hearts and minds forever.”

Police are continuing their investigation into the cause of the crash and have not yet released the names of the other victims. The incident has sent shockwaves through the local community, with tributes pouring in for the lives lost in this devastating accident.
