Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone, the reigning queen of the 400m hurdles, extended her support to fellow American track stars, including 100m world champion Sha’Carri Richardson, after her record-breaking victory at the Paris 2024 Olympics. Following her successful defense of the Olympic 400m hurdles title with an astonishing world record time of 50.37 seconds, McLaughlin-Levrone was presented with a symbolic crown by her sister-in-law, marking her dominance in the event.

In a post-race interview, McLaughlin-Levrone expressed her admiration for other female athletes on Team USA, highlighting their remarkable performances. “If I had to break off pieces of my crown, I’d give them to Gabby Thomas, Sha’Carri Richardson, Tara Davis, and Elle St. Pierre,” she said.
