Building Blocks Continue for NRLW With Bulldogs’ Co-Captain…..
Another key player from the Bulldogs’ Harvey Norman Women’s Premiership team, co-captain Sarahcen Oliver, has signed a one-year deal to join the Club’s inaugural NRLW squad in 2025.
The New Zealand native has had a strong start with the Bulldogs since joining in 2023, where she played a pivotal role in leading the team to the Harvey Norman Women’s Premiership Grand Final.
Her promotion to the NRLW squad will reunite her with fellow grand finalists Tayla Preston, Angelina Teakaraanga-Katoa, Alexis Tauaneai, and Holli Wheeler, who will all return for pre-season training.
Oliver, a skilled outside back specializing in the centres, has made an impressive start to 2024, averaging a try per game and scoring doubles in the wins against the Knights (Round 1) and the Eels (Round 6).
“Sarahcen will be a valuable addition to our inaugural squad,” said Head of Pathways, Adam Hartigan. “In just her second year with the Club, she’s shown reliability and leadership, quickly becoming a key player on the field.”
Oliver officially joins fellow co-captain Latisha Smythe and teammate Pauline Suli-Ruka, both of whom have also secured top-grade contracts.
The Bulldogs congratulate Sarahcen on her elevation to the NRLW squad and look forward to her continued growth next season.
