Roblox Launches Immersive Music Festival Featuring Imagine Dragons, Conan Gray, and More to Support Kids Relief Campaign

September 16, 2024 – Roblox users can now dive into a revolutionary music festival experience, featuring the sounds of Imagine Dragons, Conan Gray, d4vd, Poppy, and Alexander Stewart. In collaboration with Comic Relief US and Wonder Works Studio, the immersive event aims to promote the 2nd annual Kids Relief campaign, “Game to Change the World,” in partnership with Nickelodeon.

This weekend-long extravaganza allows users to play through dream-like concert environments inspired by the artists’ lives, gathering “good karma” to support the campaign’s mission of helping children. Special guest Tony Hale, known for his roles in “Veep” and “Inside Out 2,” appears as a wizard guide for users throughout the festival, accessible via the Kids Relief Simulator game on Roblox. Players can also enjoy the event through Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob Simulator and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Battle Tycoon.

d4vd, the 19-year-old genre-blending artist, expressed excitement about merging his love for gaming and music, stating, “Bringing happiness through music and gaming is all of my worlds colliding.”

Festival-goers will explore unique environments like:

  • Alexander Stewart’s childhood-inspired lakes and mountains
  • Poppy’s mysterious keyhole journey
  • d4vd’s signature rose-filled adventure
  • Conan Gray’s world tour road trip
  • A dreamscape featuring Imagine Dragons

In addition to the music, attendees will learn about young changemakers from the Nickelodeon Our World community. These inspiring individuals include Arianna, a 9-year-old from California helping families celebrate special occasions; Michael, a 9-year-old Texan promoting mindfulness with “Black Boys Meditate”; and Riley, a 10-year-old from Iowa running a Free Library for banned books.

Alison Moore, CEO of Comic Relief US, emphasized the campaign’s goal, saying, “This festival isn’t just about music. It’s a launchpad for their creativity and compassion, sparking a movement where they can unleash their potential and ignite a wave of positive change.”

To support the campaign, popular Roblox content creators Leah Ashe and MeganPlays will promote Kids Relief to their followers. d4vd will also host a Twitch live stream to raise funds for the cause. Additionally, e.l.f. Cosmetics and Overtime are offering exclusive prize bundles to donors, contributing to the campaign’s success.

Roblox’s immersive music festival is not only a celebration of creativity and music but a testament to the power of gaming for good.
