Howard Stern Blast Republican Voters with a 1-word Message

Howard Stern Has 1-Word Message for Republican Voters Following Second Assassination Attempt on Donald Trump

September 17, 2024 – Radio icon Howard Stern is not holding back in the wake of the latest assassination attempt on former U.S. President Donald Trump. On Sunday, Trump narrowly escaped an attempt on his life outside his West Palm Beach golf course, marking the second assassination plot against him in just three months. The alleged assailant, 58-year-old Ryan Routh, was apprehended by local police on I-95 after being spotted by the Secret Service before he could carry out his plan. Routh is now facing serious charges.

However, Stern’s response to the ordeal has been unapologetically blunt, directing his frustrations at Republican voters rather than Trump himself. During his SiriusXM Radio show on Monday, Stern shared a controversial statement, admitting that while he doesn’t “hate” Trump, he has deep disdain for those supporting him in the 2024 election.

“I don’t hate Trump. I hate the people who vote for him. I think they are stupid. I do. I have no respect for them,” Stern stated. The outspoken host made it clear that his disdain isn’t personal toward Trump, but rather toward those who stand behind the former president, particularly as he campaigns for re-election against Kamala Harris.

In response to criticisms that his comments might alienate part of his audience, Stern, who has been in the radio business for decades, was unfazed. “I’m at the end of my career, so (expletive) you and listen to another station if you don’t like my views,” he said, doubling down on his stance.

This bold declaration from Stern adds to the heated political climate surrounding the 2024 presidential election, where Trump, the Republican nominee, faces a tight race against Vice President Kamala Harris. Despite the latest attempt on his life, Trump expressed gratitude in a public statement for the swift actions of law enforcement and the Secret Service, praising them for their efforts in keeping him safe.

“I want to thank the U.S. Secret Service, Sheriff Ric Bradshaw, and his Office of brave and dedicated Patriots, and all of Law Enforcement for the incredible job done today at Trump International in keeping me, as the 45th President of the United States, and the Republican Nominee, safe,” Trump wrote on Truth Social following the incident.

With tensions running high and political rhetoric intensifying, Stern’s comments are sure to spark further debate as the nation braces for a contentious election season.
