Tadej Pogačar Reveals What Could Hinder His Canada Tour Amid Tactical Error in GP Québec

Slovenian cycling sensation Tadej Pogačar has opened up about potential obstacles that could hinder his performance during his Canada tour, following a tactical error in the recent Grand Prix Cycliste de Québec. The two-time Tour de France champion, who was a favorite for the GP Québec, found himself out of position during a critical moment of the race, ultimately missing out on a podium finish.

In a post-race interview, Pogačar addressed the mistake and acknowledged that it could have broader implications for the remainder of his Canadian campaign. “I made a tactical error today,” Pogačar admitted. “The timing was off, and I didn’t position myself well for the final sprint. It’s something I’ll need to correct before the next race, but it’s definitely a reminder that one small mistake can cost a lot in these tough competitions.”

The competition here is strong, and I’ll need to stay sharp mentally and physically.”

Despite the setback in Québec, Pogačar remains focused on his goals for the rest of the tour, particularly in the upcoming Grand Prix Cycliste de Montréal, where he aims to fine-tune his form before heading to the UCI Road World Championships.

Fans are eagerly watching to see how Pogačar adapts and whether he can bounce back from this tactical slip-up to finish his Canada tour on a high note.
