“OU Elevates Tailgating Experience as Sooners Kick Off SEC Era with Expanded Fan Engagement”

The University of Oklahoma (OU) is enhancing the tailgating experience as they enter their first football season in the Southeastern Conference (SEC). As part of this initiative, the university has expanded public tailgating areas to prime locations on campus, including Boyd Lawn, Asp Avenue, and near the Oklahoma Memorial Union. This expansion aims to foster a vibrant atmosphere, uniting fans across generations.

In addition to new tailgating spots, OU is introducing “Crimson Fridays,” which will kick off on College Colors Day and include a concert series on Campus Corner before home games. The university has also upgraded its “Party at the Palace” experience, offering an array of food and beverage options, family-friendly activities, and live game coverage to elevate the pre-game festivities.
