Rather than backing a political figure, the pop icon took to her Instagram Story to urge her fans to check out the Zoë Kravitz-directed film “Blink Twice,” now playing in theaters, and to listen to Sabrina Carpenter’s latest album “Short ‘n Sweet.”

“This film is outstanding—thrilling, twisted, wickedly funny, and visually breathtaking. The performances are extraordinary,” Swift commented, praising her friend Kravitz for her visionary direction. She noted that Kravitz “conceptualized, wrote, and meticulously crafted every detail of this film, bringing it to life with a clear and bold vision.”

Regarding Carpenter, who opened for Swift on her tour, she said, “Short. Sweet. She’s created an incredible album,” with checkmarks of approval.

In July, Swift declared it the “Summer of Sabrina (Carpenter),” praising her fellow pop artist after Carpenter highlighted her breakout year on Instagram, showcasing her recent career milestones.

Carpenter shared her excitement in a post: “And just like that, you guys sold out the entire short ‘n sweet tour, ‘Espresso’ went #1 at pop radio, andddddd I slid down this slide :’) Thank you all so so much!!! I can’t wait to see you on the road.” Swift enthusiastically responded, “SUMMER OF SABRINA AND MAY IT CONTINUE FOREVER,” with an angel emoji. Carpenter, who also opened for Swift during the international leg of her record-breaking Eras Tour, celebrated her song “Please” hitting No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 earlier this summer, marking her first time topping the chart.

“Blink Twice” is the directorial debut of Zoë Kravitz, 35, known for her roles in “The Batman” and HBO’s “Big Little Lies.” The psychological thriller follows Frida (Naomi Ackie), a server who is swept away by disgraced billionaire Slater King (Channing Tatum) to a private island for a getaway filled with friends and debauchery. However, as the trip progresses, the women in the group begin blacking out and waking up with mysterious injuries, while others disappear entirely, leaving Frida desperate to uncover the truth.

Earlier this summer, Taylor Swift also endorsed “Deadpool & Wolverine,” showing support for her close friends Hugh Jackman, Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, and Shawn Levy. She shared a photo with them and wrote a heartfelt message expressing her admiration for the film, which the five friends attended a Chiefs vs. Jets game in October, marking Swift’s second public appearance supporting her boyfriend, Travis Kelce.

“Over the past few years, I’ve watched one of my best friends pour every ounce of his heart, soul, sweat, time, energy, jokes, pain, joy, rebellion, darkness, and magic into this film,” Swift wrote.
