‘Call Her Daddy’ podcast host inks $100 million deal with Sirius XM

Sirius XM Holdings Inc. has secured a multiyear agreement with Alex Cooper, the creator, host, and executive producer of the popular podcast “Call Her Daddy.” The deal grants SiriusXM the exclusive rights to sell advertisements for both the audio and video versions of Cooper’s podcast, as well as for additional content and events related to the show. This agreement, reportedly valued at $100 million over more than three years, also includes podcasts from Cooper’s Unwell Network, featuring influencers like Alix Earle and Madeline Argy.

Previously, Cooper’s podcast was exclusively distributed by Spotify, where it amassed over 4 million followers and ranked as the seventh most popular podcast in the U.S. earlier this year, according to Edison Research. SiriusXM will begin introducing exclusive content in 2025, and the company’s shares rose by 7.2% following the announcement.

SiriusXM President Scott Greenstein praised Cooper’s “fearless, unfiltered approach,” which has attracted a passionate audience that aligns with SiriusXM’s content. This deal follows a similar high-profile arrangement SiriusXM made with the “SmartLess” podcast earlier this year, valued at over $100 million. As SiriusXM’s contract with Howard Stern nears its 2025 expiration, the company sees exclusive content as essential for boosting subscriber growth.
