Done Deal Announcement: AC Milan Sets Sights on Manu Koné Amid Competition from Roma

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has confirmed that AC Milan is seriously interested in securing Manu Koné to bolster their midfield. However, the Rossoneri could face stiff competition from AS Roma, who are also keen on the Borussia Mönchengladbach star.

According to reports from Calciomercato.com, Roma is gearing up for a busy end to the summer transfer window, with potential sales that could fuel their pursuit of Koné. Paulo Dybala is expected to leave for Al-Qadisiah, while Edoardo Bove might head to the Premier League, with Everton and Fulham expressing interest.

The sale of these players, along with Tammy Abraham’s possible departure to Milan, could provide Roma with the necessary funds to challenge for Koné, who is looking for a move away from Germany. Borussia Mönchengladbach currently values the 23-year-old at €25 million, but a deal could be struck for around €20 million.

With Milan needing to make space in their squad to finalize the deal, the race for Koné is heating up as both Italian giants look to reinforce their midfield before the window closes.
