Rahmanullah Gurbaz will rejoin the Guyana Amazon Warriors, having previously played with them in 2022, where he participated in six matches, amassing 157 runs and scoring two half-centuries.

The Warriors have also retained several other international players, including Pakistani batsmen Saim Ayub and Azam Khan, as well as South African all-rounder Dwaine Pretorius. Additionally, they are keeping key West Indies players such as Shimron Hetmyer, Shai Hope, Romario Shepherd, and Keemo Paul.

To date, the Amazon Warriors have signed 14 players, leaving them with three more spots to fill at the July draft. They clinched their first CPL title last season by defeating the Trinbago Knight Riders in a low-scoring final. As the defending champions, they will kick off their 2024 campaign against the new franchise, Antigua and Barbuda Falcons, on August 30 in North Sound.
