Official Announcement: WWE Consider London for SummerSlam 2025 Following AEW’s Move to Texas

In light of All Elite Wrestling’s recent announcement that All In 2025 will take place at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, WWE is exploring the possibility of bringing SummerSlam 2025 to London. This move follows AEW’s decision to relocate their summer event from Wembley Stadium to the United States, which opens up a prime opportunity for WWE to return to the UK for the first time since 1992.

WWE has not yet confirmed specific dates or venues for SummerSlam 2025, but discussions are ongoing. During a recent press event, WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque hinted at changes to the format of SummerSlam, potentially moving away from the traditional single-night event. However, no location was mentioned at that time.

Last month, Levesque and WWE President Nick Khan were in London to meet with Mayor Sadiq Khan and discuss potential opportunities for major WWE events in the city, including the possibility of hosting WrestleMania. This could potentially lead to a multi-event deal between WWE and the city of London, similar to WWE’s recent partnership with the Indiana Sports Corp, which will bring WrestleMania, SummerSlam, and Royal Rumble to Indianapolis.

As of now, WrestleMania 41 is confirmed for Las Vegas, and SummerSlam 2026 will be a two-night event in Minneapolis. The details of the remaining events in WWE’s Indianapolis partnership have yet to be disclosed. With AEW’s All In moving to Texas, WWE has a unique opportunity to bring its summer spectacle back to London. Further announcements will be made as more information becomes available.

Stay tuned for updates on WWE’s potential return to London and what this could mean for SummerSlam 2025.
