DONE DEAL: West Ham Plot contract with Man United’ Aaron Wan-Bissaka; player set to join club…

There has been a significant update in the transfer saga between West Ham and Manchester United for Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

West Ham fans are growing increasingly worried about the club’s pursuit of Man United star Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who has been linked to the Hammers for several transfer windows.

Previously, Wolves were also in the race for the Man United right-back when Julen Lopetegui was their manager.

When Lopetegui, who was also once considered for the Manchester United job before Erik ten Hag retained his position, took over at West Ham, it seemed inevitable that Wan-Bissaka would be back on their radar.

So far, West Ham and Man United have failed to agree on terms for the 26-year-old.

When negotiations stalled last week, West Ham shifted their focus to Man United target Noussair Mazraoui, making rapid progress on that front.

However, it turned out to be a tactical move by West Ham to pressure Man United into agreeing on the Wan-Bissaka deal. This strategy seemed effective, as reports indicated that an agreement between West Ham and Manchester United was imminent.

Earlier this week, West Ham was frustrated with Man United after finally agreeing on personal terms with Wan-Bissaka, only for Man United to raise their price again following West Ham’s interest in Mazraoui.

Yesterday, West Ham reiterated their desire to finalize Wan-Bissaka’s signing as soon as possible.

When Wan-Bissaka played 83 minutes in Man United’s 3-0 friendly defeat to Liverpool, a journalist called Man United ‘crazy.’

This decision by Ten Hag has cast doubts over the deal, especially with Inter Milan reportedly showing interest. However, the situation has become more complex as Man United booked a flight for Mazraoui.

According to Foot Mercato and Get French Football News, Man United have agreed to sign Mazraoui, pending a medical on Tuesday. The club has arranged for the Moroccan’s flights to Manchester to complete the move.

It is even claimed that Ten Hag wants Mazraoui in the squad for next Saturday’s Community Shield clash with Man City.

The report states, “The Moroccan right-back is set to fly to Manchester in the coming days to complete his move to join the Premier League club,” and adds, “Foot Mercato understands Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag is counting on having his former player available for the Red Devils’ first game of the season in the FA Community Shield.”

This is significant for both West Ham and Man United fans, as it suggests the Hammers are close to finalizing the deal for Wan-Bissaka.4

With both teams returning from the US in the next 24 hours, a deal could be completed quickly.

Concerns about an injury to Wan-Bissaka in the Liverpool defeat are unfounded, as he was withdrawn with a minor head knock.

Key to this deal is Wan-Bissaka’s agent, Will Salthouse, who is close with West Ham majority owner David Sullivan and his sons. Salthouse has been urging Sullivan to sign Wan-Bissaka, a sentiment Lopetegui likely shares after expressing frustration with West Ham’s pre-season performances following consecutive 3-1 defeats to Wolves and Palace.
