Devastating News..; NSW Blues star totally banished from…

Haumole Olakau’atu’s fervor for NSW in State of Origin, particularly during a series decider, is undeniable.

In a dramatic turn of events, NSW’s 19th man, Olakau’atu, was ejected from the Suncorp Stadium sidelines after participating in a first-half brawl. His presence was unmistakable as he was still in his game day suit.

Amazingly, Blues star Cameron Murray became the first player to be sin-binned from the interchange bench due to his involvement in the altercation.

Olakau’atu, still in his suit, leapt into the fray from the NSW bench after a clash between Jarome Luai and Daly Cherry-Evans escalated off the field. A fired-up Olakau’atu engaged in a scuffle with Maroons winger Valentine Holmes.

Following the incident, Murray and Jeremiah Nanai were both sin-binned, while Olakau’atu was removed from the sidelines and sent to the Blues dressing room to cool off. He was only allowed to watch the rest of the match from the dressing room or the Blues’ coaching box.

The Sea Eagles backrower played for the Blues in the first two games of the series but was not selected by coach Michael Maguire for the decider.

Maguire’s counterpart, Billy Slater, was aiming for his third consecutive series win, but NSW ultimately triumphed 14-4.

Post-game, Wally Lewis Medal winner Angus Crichton commended the culture Maguire fostered in the camp, saying, “We knew what we were chasing and were capable of. We definitely felt the pressure… but this is a special team and a great group of boys.”
