NBA YOUNGBOY TREATED UNFAIRLY  BY FEDS, SAYS AKADEMIKS: ‘HE GOTTA LIVE IN A ROOM FOR AGES’

YoungBoy has been under house arrest in Utah since October 2021 after being indicted in Louisiana for “felon in possession of a firearm.”

Last month, YoungBoy was charged with 63 counts, including identity fraud, forgery, obtaining a prescription under false pretenses, possession of a dangerous weapon by a restricted person, a pattern of unlawful activity, and possession of a controlled substance.

In early May, KUTV reported additional charges against him, including possession of a firearm by a restricted person and two counts of obtaining a prescription without permission.

A few days later, FOX 8 in New Orleans reported that YoungBoy’s bond was set at $100,000 during a court hearing, with his arraignment scheduled for July.

The rapper was arrested last month in connection to a prescription drug fraud ring in Utah. According to the affidavit, the scheme involved calling in prescriptions using a real doctor’s identity and a fraudulent patient name for Promethazine with Codeine. These prescriptions were then picked up by YoungBoy or his associates. Suspicion arose when YoungBoy allegedly impersonated a doctor and used the word “axed” instead of “asked.”
