Saints lose Moses Mbye appeal to Operational Rules Tribunal

The Saints’ second appeal to the Operational Rules Tribunal against a one-match penalty notice given to Moses Mbye was unsuccessful. Mbye received a Grade B ‘Dangerous Contact’ charge on July 8th from the Match Review Panel after the Saints’ Round 16 Betfred Super League game against Castleford Tigers. The initial appeal on Tuesday night was unsuccessful, and a subsequent appeal tonight also failed, upholding the one-match penalty notice. With Mbye unavailable, Will Roberts has been added to the 21-man squad for the first time this season.
