GOOD NEWS: West Indies are set to bring him back….

Jofra Archer’s career since 2019 has horribly stagnated, but with England about to start their T20 World Cup defence, he’s back.

Things haven’t worked out because the fast bowler has endured nearly four-and-a-half years of injury hell, depriving him of valuable game time.

wever, the 29-year-old is finally back and ready to help Jos Buttler’s men defend their T20 crown at the World Cup in the West Indies and USA.

It’s also set to be an emotional homecoming for Archer, who was born in Bridgetown, Barbados, and he’ll get to play in his home town as an England player against Scotland later today.

Injury can impact anyone in sports at any time, but very few suffer for as long as Archer has.

He first experienced elbow problems in January 2020, which have turned into a recurring nightmare.

It will be held at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados.

The action is set to get underway at 3:30pm UK time.

It will be shown on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Cricket.

Sky Go customers can watch via their laptops or mobile devices.

Alternatively, viewers can purchase a NOW TV membership, with monthly passes currently on sale for £26.
