The Browns assumed they would be looking for Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins.

Bengals wide receiver Higgins jersey. Now is the time for the Cleveland Browns to look ahead to the offseason, and wide receiver should be one of the franchise’s top priorities.

Amari Cooper is entering the final year of his contract in 2024, and Elijah Moore is currently the best on the rest of the roster.

As Bleacher Report’s Christopher Knox noted on Saturday, Jan. 13, several high-profile free agents are targeting the Browns if they can free up salary cap space to make such a move.

The first name on the list belongs to Tee Higgins of the Cincinnati Bengals.

“The Browns could use a solid perimeter receiver across from Amari Cooper, but they may not have the capital to secure one of the top names on the market,”

Knox wrote. “If that changes, Tee Higgins, Michael Pittman Jr. and Calvin Ridley should be at the top of Cleveland’s wish list.”

Tee Higgins is set to sign with Monster this season.

Higgins, the second-leading receiver behind the rival Bengals’ Ja’Marr Chase, is in the fourth and final year of his $8.7 million rookie contract in 2023.

Spotrac estimates his market value at $74.4 million ($18.6 million per year) under the new four-year deal.

That’s a lot of money for a guy who hasn’t been the team’s best option over the past three seasons.

However, Higgins has been very productive since entering the league as a second-round pick (No. 33 overall) in early 2020.

Higgins amassed more than 1,000 receiving yards in 2021 and 2022, with 908 receiving yards in that span, according to Pro Football Reference.

Space had the least productive year of his career this season, recording just 42 catches for 656 yards.

However, Higgins was ruled out for five games due to injury. As a result, he averaged 109 goals in the first three years of his career, but finished the year with just 76 goals.

Higgins has five touchdowns in 2023, giving him a total of 24 touchdowns in 58 games played.

Browns Dub Deshaun Watson will debut at QB in the offseasongettyDeshaun Watson will be the starting quarterback for the Cleveland Browns until 2024.

Stealing Higgins from Cincinnati in free agency would certainly bolster the Browns’ offense while weakening the Bengals’ potent offensive attack.

Additionally, Higgins will certainly help Deshaun Watson become Cleveland’s quarterback.

They figured the franchise would sign once the QB was fully guaranteed at $230 million before the 2022 campaign.

Browns coach Kevin Stefanski confirmed Sunday that Watson, not Joe Flacco, who led the team to a 4-1 record and a playoff berth in Super Wild Card Weekend, will be the team’s starting pitcher this offseason.

“#Browns coach Kevin Stefanski says he has no doubt Deshaun Watson will be on the field next year. “

He’s a [5-1] starter and had a lot of good moments,” Sokt in Browns territory.

“I have ‘I don’t know how many people on the planet have spent the second half of their lives injured in Baltimore,'” Stefanski said, according to Petrak.

Watson had shoulder surgery in November after suffering multiple injuries in six starts this season.

Stefanski said Sunday that Watson is on or even ahead of schedule for rehab.
