He underwent knee surgery in hopes of returning this season and contributing to the postseason run.
Unfortunately, that is no longer possible as the Cleveland Browns have placed Walker on injured reserve, ending the 2023 season.
The Browns have re-signed defensive end Sam Kamara to the active roster with the open roster.
Unfortunately, Walker is entering his second season with the Browns as a backup and is just the latest player to join an ever-growing roster.
A valuable leader on the field and in the locker room, Walker has been MIKE’s starting quarterback the past two seasons.
He was elected team captain and was a candidate for the team’s Walker Payton Man of the Year.
Walker started 12 games and recorded 23 solo tackles and four pass breakups.
His only forced fumble came in the second half against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
On the Jaguars’ first play of the second half, Walker fumbled the ball.
