He started with a standout performance against the Rams, where he threw two touchdown passes in his first game of the year.
A week later, he turned that week’s record into a big change, throwing three touchdown passes and rushing for 300 yards in Cleveland’s win over Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars.
The good days continued until December. Last week, Flacco had his most impressive performance yet, leading the Browns past a resilient Texans team and moving Cleveland one step closer to the postseason golden ticket.
He regularly tested David Njoku and Amari Cooper, forming partnerships throughout.
Led by a terrific defense that was crucial to wins over teams like the 49ers and Ravens, Flacco has a better chance than anyone to keep the Browns’ hopes high.
