Arizona wins the Alamo Bowl defeating Oklahoma.

Arizona picked up its 10th win of the season by defeating Oklahoma in the 2023 Valero Alamo Bowl. San Antonio, Texas.

Noah Fifita threw for 354 yards and two touchdowns to lead the No. 14 Arizona Wildcats to the 2023 No. 12 Oklahoma Sooners in the Valero Alamo Bowl in San Antonio on Thursday.

(Oklahoma Sooners) to a 38-24 win.Arizona finished the season 10-3.

This is Arizona’s first 10-win season since 2014.Oklahoma finished 10-3. The Sooners led 14-13 at halftime.

In the fourth quarter, Fifita hit Jacob Cowing for a 57-yard touchdown to give the Wildcats a 31–24 lead.

On the ensuing drive, Oklahoma quarterback Jackson Arnold fumbled and Arizona recovered.

Two plays later, DJ Williams ran for a 19-yard field goal to make it 38-24.

This was Arizona State’s first win in a game since the 2015 New Mexico Bowl.For Arizona, Fifita completed 24 of 38 passes for 354 yards and two touchdowns with one interception.

Cowing caught seven passes for 152 yards and two touchdowns.Tetairoa McMillan had 10 catches for 160 yards.

The Wildcat defense forced six turnovers.For Oklahoma, Arnold completed 26 of 45 passes for 361 yards and two touchdowns with three interceptions.

Gavin Shochuk rushed for 134 yards and a touchdown.Arizona will be promoted to the Big 12 next season.
