The New York Jets know a thing or two about offense this season.
But they suffered one of the most embarrassing losses of the 2023 NFL season on Thursday, losing 37-20 to the Cleveland Browns.
The Browns (11-5) advanced to the playoffs with a win, their second postseason appearance in 21 seasons.
The Jets (6-10) missed the playoffs for the 13th time this season three weeks ago.
The biggest difference between the two teams this season is that Cleveland has overcome adversity while New York has buried it.
Each team started four different quarterbacks. All suffered serious injuries on the offensive line.

The Browns absolutely dominated the Jets and they did it with Joe Flacco at quarterback.
Flacco, who played three seasons in New York and lobbied Aaron Rodgers to return after tearing his Achilles tendon in Week 1, was waived by the Jets.

Flacco threw a pick-6 when Jermaine Johnson rushed the QB, caught the ball in the second quarter, jumped and passed for 37 yards. But the Browns led by three possessions at the time.
It wasn’t great, but it wasn’t as bad as Siemian’s errant throw. Give credit to Siemian.
He started in place of the injured Zach Wilson and stayed there the rest of the way.
The 32-year-old tight end completed 32 of 45 for 261 yards, a touchdown and an interception.
