NFL: Cleveland Browns, Houston, TexasTroy Taormina – USA Today SportsWith a quick turnaround after the Week 16 game against the Houston Texans and their Thursday Night Football game against the New York Jets, the Cleveland Browns won’t have much time to heal injuries.

Browns coach Kevin Stefanski announced to the media on Tuesday that QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson will be placed on injured reserve with a groin injury.

Kicker Dustin Hopkins was ruled out against the Jets with a groin injury that was “week-to-week.”Hopkins’ playoff hopes are strong:Stefanski’s latest injury update was somewhat reassuring.

As of Thursday, the status of Punter Corey Bojorquez is unknown. According to reports, Cleveland will sign a player to the practice squad if Bojorquez is ruled out.

QB PJ Walker is set to return to the active roster to fill DTR’s roster spot, but the team has not officially announced any player moves or additions.

The Cleveland Browns are currently dealing with injuries to Dustin Hopkins and punter Corey Bojorquez, according to Ari Meirov of The 33rd Team.

Dustin Hopkins is dealing with a groin injury and Riley Patterson will be the starting quarterback for the Browns’ game against the New York Jets on Thursday night.

Corey Boyorquez’s injury appears to be less serious than Hopkins’ as he suffered a quad injury.

The Browns will almost certainly use Riley Patterson in place of Hopkins on Thursday, but it’s questionable whether Bojorquez or Matt Haak will return against the Jets.
