Dustin Hopkins Absence, against the Texans, the Browns got some unexpected help and it was emblematic for the team.

It’s no secret that Bell has some experience with the Browns and special teams coordinator Bubba Ventron.

ok

“They really nailed it for me,” Bell said. “At first he said, ‘I think I should kick the ball.’

So I said, “Okay, okay.” They said, OK, come and practice. So we trained and he said, “Let’s kick, let’s kick.”

“Come on, let’s do it,” he said. How was he as a kicker in 2015? It’s hard to say.

He doesn’t remember any stats, but he wishes he did.

“I’m pretty good,” he said with a smile. “I’m pretty good.”Bubba Ventron, Stefanski and Co. I was ready to take a chance on him in a difficult situation.

His shining moment came at 12:31 when he committed a fumble that was eventually recovered by the Texans.

This comes after Corey Bojorquez filled in for Hopkins after an injury. CBS reported that Boorkes could be injured, and defensive end Myles Garrett said the same.

Neither Stefanski nor Boyorquez would comment on the possible injury after the game, and the Browns did not provide an update.

After Hopkins went down, Bojorquez took some warm-up snaps from the sideline while safety Dorian Thompson-Robinson also served as catcher.

The whole ordeal wasn’t perfect, as Hopkins was on the verge of an unexpected Pro Bowl-caliber season.

The 33-year-old tight end, acquired from the Chargers a day before the Browns trimmed their roster, is 33 of 36 on field goals, including 8 of 50 yards.

He is 24 of 26 on extra points. He scored game-winning touchdowns against the 49ers, Ravens, Steelers and Bears and made four field goals, including three from 50 yards, in the Browns’ 39-38 victory over the Colts.

With just two weeks left in the regular season and a chance to officially enter the playoffs Thursday night, Hopkins’ offside injury will be an issue that needs a quick fix.

But for now, the actions taken by Bell and others are symbolic of why this team is 10-5 and firmly in control of playoff destiny.

“Some of that is learning, and some of that is thinking, Who’s done something before?” Who will be caught and who will be kicked out?

We can make it work as well as we can,” Hopkins said. “So there are some things that I actually did and some that I didn’t, but they did.

It was beautiful to see. I felt like I didn’t have to focus as much after something like that, so it was nice to try and support these guys and watch the games and see how they play.

For Bell, this is just the latest example of his progress.Due to his special teams contributions, the safety has struggled to make the roster for two consecutive seasons.

But with Juan Thornhill (calf) and Grant Delpit (groin) both out, he has taken a step forward in the past two weeks.

They also had a win in Week 15 over the Bears. He’s just one of several players who have stepped up after injuries this season, including season-ending injuries to players like Nick Chubb, Deshaun Watson, Jack Conklin, DaVand Jones and Maurice Hurst.“You just have to find your way,” Bell said.

“We’ve had a lot of problems all year, so if something happens, let’s find another way. So this team is going to find a way to win and that’s what we’re going to try to do.”Even if it means sending security to boot.
